    "Immortal" Knight

Post by TyrGodOfWar98 on Sun Sep 28, 2014 6:58 pm

Steam Name : Sir Zacharias Maurus

    Steam ID : STEAM_0:1:78508993

How long have you been roleplaying : For about 2-3 years, a week for this server though.

Any experience having this auth before : None....Iv'e usually just played a Citizen in SeriousRP Gamemodes

What are you applying for : A Knight

Why should you have this : I simply like to play any Divine, or Holy characters in any RPGs, and this could be a perfect universe for what I play. It would also go great with the Player group I'm seeing if it's allowed which is the Knights Templar.

    Backstory :
Sir Zacharias Maurus was a Knight during the 3rd Crusades along with his brothers in the Knights Templar. Him, and his brothers were required to protect, and hide any holy artifacts discovered in fear that the armies of Saladin would find them, and destroy them. His brothers & him were ambushed transporting the artifacts by a horde of Saladins Muslims. He & one other Knight rode on horseback away from the carnage while his brothers died buying them time. While riding away a arrow pierced the other Templar's neck killing him, leaving Zacharias alone. Zacharias rode away with the artifacts he could carry, one of them being the Holy Grail. He soon found refuge inside of a cave, one decorated with biblical drawings. It was soon ransacked by the Hordes of Saladin, leaving Zacharias outnumbered, outgunned, and out of luck.

He was soon defeated taking as many of the Heathens with him, losing most of the artifacts to the greedy Muslims. Left injured, and with only one of the artifacts still in his possession, he crawled to a oasis inside the biblical cave, taking the single artifact he had saved from the horde out, dipping it in the water and drinking. As soon as he gulped down the water, he felt 'alive', his wounds healing, him feeling rejuvinated, and ready to get payback. He soon thought against the idea due to him most likely going to lose the remaining artifact while outnumbered 3 to 1. He decided to stay in the biblical cove, and protect his remaining artifact. He soon found out then when he would drink water from the artifact, it would rejuvenate him, but also extend his life. He no longer needed to feast, drink, or sleep, giving him the power to defend the only artifact forever.

    *811 Years pass*

It was another day for Zacharias, re-reading the Bible, doing his daily prayer, and guarding the Holy Grain when Vampires ordered to find the artifact, and reclaim it to gain power. He defended the relic with his Holy Longsword, and Dagger, defeating the group of Vampire Fledgelings with ease. He knew that more would come for the Holy Relic, especially the Vampires so he simply got up and left the Biblical Cove, leaving his Bible in it on the passage Deuteronomy 20.

In the the next 16 years he made it to the United States learning the New English, and becoming a US Citizen. He would go on to live in Los Angeles when the whole world found out about the Fables, he immediatly wanted to destroy the Unholy creatures, but the Goverment took a more..."pacifistic" root. He saw that all of them were evil creatures, and needed to be destroyed for God. So he revolutionized the fallen Templars into a group of Vigilante Fable Hunters.

    *BACKSTORY OVER*

Yes, I agree to use this character responsibly, and I understand it can be taken away at any time.

    +Support.

Yeah, this is a kind of controversial application; for something divine and godly to be walking the earth at almost 1000 years old. But hey, vampires on this server are 1,000 years and even three times that; but mostly I see this as a branch out into the fantasy RP that we were going to try. Perhaps place upon a trial period to see how well the character integrates into the roleplay.

2500 year old mage as well; but this definitely can fit into our game I believe as something non-Vampiric or Lycan to really enhance the "fantasy" aspect of the mode. No doubt: this could be good.

Yeah....I understand this would be a controversial app, but I always either like to play in RPG or Fantasy things as a Holy Knight, or Nordic Barbarian.

I'd like to know more about the character before I support it or not.

What does being a 'Divine' entail?

My character isn't actually Divine Fuzzy....he's what Knights are considered....Holy Warriors, not actually having any angelic powers except immortality as long as he has the Holy Grail....the Grail also rejuvenates him so yeah....basically it heals wounds, but he needs to be ICly near a place where water is.

    See, that's why I asked;

So, to get this straight, you're applying for a character who has in his possession a grail that causes him to become 'immortal'.

So would the grail be on his person? Like in a backpack or something? Or whatever a knight would use to hold a goblet. And does he need to drink from it to rejuvenate or just be near water?

I interpreted it as he drank from something holy that extends his life-span; divine in nature, but not necessarily god-like.

If you're gonna walk around with a holy grain full of fountain of youth water--- i'm gonna be a little more cautious with my support

    But I love the idea.

Well....in typical Holy Grail characteristics, it's usually a goblet so it's not like I can just carryi t with water....and I'll most likely keep it off my person, hidden since y'know....My char has to protect the "Holy Artifact"

This would probably be fun and I imagine people will try to get the artifact of him. Which might create a bit of a tug and pull between good and evil on server. I only wish someone made a counter character who wants to take it from him, so that way it's kind of like "We are totally fucked if X gets this.".

Although it's doubtful you will be able to kill groups of vampires, even if they are young, as characters. If you get accepted, pick your battles and avoid soloing multiple vampires. That whole response unit group has trouble taking on Augustine's, so I imagine you will face similar trouble to them when fighting.

Well....my guy has had multiple centuries to train to fight, even if it wasn't originally Vampires, and I wont go soloing Vamps, even if I tried I'm still only Human, I'm not going to have any DIVINE or HOLY characteristics/powers, only that the Holy Grail lengthens my life, and rejuvenates me after I drink from it....but then again, I'm not carrying that all the time, and my Social IC Char when I'm not going to to be carrying it will most likely in "honor" of the Templars be a White Hoodie, Blue Jeans, Leather Black Boots, Templar Undershirt, A Small Dagger, and a Bible...This char not by any chance is going to OP something nearly like a Augustine, so  yeah....

Well you stated in his backstory that he dispatched young vampires with ease, which gives the idea that he could take on 2-4 Augustines at once, just as long as he had a longsword with him. Although I'll assume you wont do that on server, because not even the response unit can do that themselves.

Well, I'm just saying that my guy took on 2-3 Young Vamps with easy, having 8 decades to train with the sword....I'm not going to be SOLOING Vamps/Werewolves...seeing as how I could probably get shot with something as simple as a gun and die...so I'm not going to be soloing Vamps, and all

You are maybe a bit harsh in game but, It's not a reason to downvote your app just cause I don't like the way you act sometimes. That'd be very harsh to u and u would cry. I completely have no reasons at all, to hate this Application of yours. It purely amazing, and it shows how much you can do in'.
