Y'know, I can understand my APPs being denied, they're not the best written and I'm not the best player....but when it takes 3-4 weeks for them to even be decided upon, and for SA Larissa to say "I thought I denied those, ooops", it kind of pisses me off, and makes me a bit sad that I have to directly tell them what's the verdict after 3-4 weeks and for it to be a automatic "DENIED".

Takes 4 weeks for a Super Admin to give the final verdict on my app after I had to tell her, and it is denied because apparently the characters are OP, and the backstory is short.

Put more work into it, bug the administration more lol. I bug administration and it still takes about a week for the app to get checked, if you don't tell them - they can very easily not even know it's there honestly.
Also characters whom have a lot of power in terms of combat or anything similar to character versus character actions need to have really experienced roleplayers behind them. There's a benefit to wasting years of your life roleplaying, you get to have characters who are a bit risque to use, because you're experienced enough to handle them appropriately and realistically.
Just keep writing, keep going - things get better as time passes and we've all been where you are. You just can't skip hoops man.

I could understand the Knight being denied, but I'm lenient with my apps, I could of downsized the arsenal of my Mercenary, and It's not like it's a large arsenal. My guy would ICly only carry a sub-machine gun when not on a contract.

Re: Me :( because of Super Admin
I'll be brutally honest, first impressions are everything. Even if you're open to suggestions and changes, the admin team see what you've initially applied for as the basis of what you want, and if they don't like it then chances are they'll just deny it. Some admins, if they see potential or they like what they see, will occasionally offer some feed back before pitching in their verdict.
So, really, just be smart about what you're applying for and try to guess-timate what the admin team's reaction to what you're asking for might be. If it's something big, assure them that you know it's a big ask, and let them know that you won't abuse it by accurately outlining what your character can/can't do.
I say this out of experience. When I was allowed to oversee applications on a Medieval Fantasy RP community, vague applications took the longest for me to accept/deny because I didn't have enough information to properly form an opinion. This can quite easily be translated here where an admin might just postpone their decision indefinitely and forget about it.

Re: Me :( because of Super Admin
The word for first impressions is a thing called Rapport.
Rapport is how everyone see's something for the first time and it is the most constant memory. When you first see someone - that is how you sub consciously see them as a person, same for work - it doesn't matter if you fix initial mistakes or make it less then it was because everyone remembers the original.
While Rapport is a little unfair and you could make everything wonderful / perfect from when everyone first saw something, they never forget and it's imprinted into their minds.
