Heat for Lycanthropes.

Werewolves are decendants of the wolf, thus meaning it is very, very possible and infact very, very likely that they would have heat.


I'm not saying you have to roleplay it. Nor am I saying you need to even acknowledge it, but it should be common sense that this is the internet. If someone wants to fuck someone else's character due to a specific thing, it happens, okay? 

It would be the same way as before. Manageble and wears off within 2/3 weeks OOC time, or however long you're willing to RP it for.

Okay, There should be a heat season, yes. But the werewolves it effects should be able to choose to roleplay it happening or not.

Take it to SF if you REALLY want to ERP it.

I think heat is fully acceptable, it should be announced on forum post when the cycle starts and the time until it ends. Heat however should be sectioned into two forms of effects in my opinion, the first is that for werewolves they should get shorter tempers during the period, that should be a prominent effect. However for the ERP side, it should be up to said Lycanthrope how seriously they take it, since obviously not everyone is as heavily effected. 

tl;dr: Heat should be a thing that's RPd, but the level of which it's RPd and participated is up to the character themselves. It should be toned down in GOOC and the announcement should be purely left on the forums.

What's the reason behind it? What should heat for werewolves bring? Another excuse to ERP? Excuse me if I'm narrow minded, but, this is all that I can see behind your words.

Not ERP. It's funny, awkward RP. Imagine one Werewolf in heat finding one who isn't. It'd be extremely fun for both sides. And the reason is, it's sound. It's already got enough votes to be accepted.

EDIT: And like I said, it's being voted for people who WANT it. IE, the people who want to do it. You can't control our characters like little puppets. That's just bad, and if that's what it's becoming, then shit, I might as well leave.

Even humans have their own season of estrus. Sure, it's not as powerful as a werewolves, but it's a season of estrus. It makes absolute complete and total sense for a Werewolf to go into heat.

Should instead try to create plots, mistery and something for the players to do - not write about furred penises and Werewolf heat.

You seem to honestly just be complaining about something you can just ignore, it's clear you are the only person it bothers is what the poll would indicate, and it seems you don't have any reason other than not liking ERP which WOULD HAPPEN ANYWAY
