Annabell Strider [APP for a fairy-like character/demon]

How long have you been roleplaying?: Since may last year via gmod, since 2010 on varying games, and forums.

Any experience having this auth before?: In a way, I used to RP as one on a few other games.

What are you applying for?: A character alike a fae (Fairy) One with wings that can be hidden under clothing (as in it gets 'absorbed' into the skin, still showing the outlines of wings. Note: The wings are strong, and can rip material if they aren't being 'free'.) And has pitch back eyes, though can be only be seen by other fables, humans would just see bright colored eyes. This Fae would be alike a demon, though the aura would be calm and collected.
 
Why should you have this?: Because I enjoy RPing as multiple things, and bringing RP not just for myself; but for others as well.

Backstory: Note, I'm not very good with writing back-stories, but I whipped one up anyway.


Annabell was born in 1995, on the 25^th of May. She was born with bright emerald eyes, and jet black hair, in a private hospital on the outskirts of Paris. Her parents knew something was wrong with her, as she was a very small child as she was aging up, at least a foot smaller than the others her age.

As Annabell reached the age of four, she looked at herself in one of the mirrors in the family apartment. Her eyes were a pitch black, and colour she had never seen in the mirror before. She screamed out to her parents, and they came running into the bedroom.

She had explained to them, in the little French she knew, that her eyes were a very dark black. Her parents told her they were normal, and she was just seeing things. Annabell was four, and she had no idea what had happened to her eyes.

Two years passed and she was starting her first year of school, her small green bag was sitting on her back. She walked into the main entrance of the building, and felt a sharp pain in her back, causing her to fall. She wailed in pain as her mother and father ran up to her, comforting her.

Moments passed of pure agony as Annabell screamed in pain, the sounds echoing down the hallways of the building; causing people to look her way. The pain suddenly stopped, and she fell quiet. Her parents removed the bag off her back, and tried to comfort her by patting her on the back.

Annabell screamed in pain as her father ran his hands over her shoulder blades, and the fabric of her blue t-shirt started to rip apart, revealing transparent, black wings. The students her age started to scream in horror and ran into the classrooms, while her parents were standing in the doorway, watching their daughter turn into an abomination.

Alarms started to ring, and students both her age and older, flooded out in the halls as Annabell sat with her legs crossed, and back hunched, and large wings fitted on her back. Screams filled the hallway as students began to run out the other entrance.

The day passed as she sat there, in the empty building alone. Sirens began to blare outside and officials started to move in, and aim weapons at Annabell. A woman picked Annabell up, and carried her to a truck, chaining her on the inside as if it’s something that’s happened before.

Annabell spent 10 years in confinement, along with only a few others that shared the curse with her. A man dressed in a suit walked into Anna’s cell, and gave her a run-down. She had been learning English for 7 years, and that she was being moved to LA, in America.

They transported her there, and she began to live a much more normal life then she had already lived. The world was not aware of fables, but she was starting her new life in LA. Five more years passed, and the information of fables went worldwide. Causing her to become shy.




Do you agree that you will use these responsibly, and understand these can be taken away at any time? Of course.

Is there any other powers besides having wings that she has?
Can she fly with her wings?
There is no written lore of Fae, so you'll have to list the abilities.
I don't know much about faes, so I'll look into it as well.
Also, is she only a partial Fae? How was she born a Fae if her parents are 100% human?

They can fly with their wings, but it causes a lot of pain on their side. About the powers, I think they'd just have the ability to heal others, but causes stress on their side mentally when doing so.  Being partial fae would involve at least of of her parents being one themselves or say, they are given the curse at birth, meaning they can be born with the curse, even if the parents aren't fables. That being said it would at least be 1 in a million, or higher.  I guess another thing would be that their blood is black instead of red, even. They would stop aging at around 20/30 and would still be able to procreate. If it was allowed, they could also see into the minds of others, accessing their name/age/etc, but that's up to pixie or whoever.

Those were some of the many things I had found, and they seemed to be the most simple/less powergaming ones. Though this would be the first character of the race, I can write up a lore/thingy for it if allowed so.

I was pretty neutral with the idea of having a Fae on server, I really had nothing against it it, but...

You have to realize how unbelievably OP those abilities are.

Resurrection and intangibility alone is enough to make me not want to support this, because that essentially means your character can potentially reverse PKs at will and never get PKd herself. On top of being able to fly, move (I assume) as fast as a vampire, create illusions, etc.

Oh, I see. A character that is actually based in science and isn't necessarily a supernatural being but a fucking carrier of a disease is bad, but the moment someone makes a super-natural character that is un-explainable. OH SHIT. LET'S HOP ON THAT MOTHERFUCKER LIKE IT'S A TRAMPOLINE WITH TRIPLE-CUNTED HOOKERS WAITING FOR US ON THE OTHER SIDE. Just my two cents.

Letting you know now that later tonight I'll be releasing the Demon lore and CombatRP guides, and considering I've been tasked with this, this fairy creature is WAY beyond even what some of the most powerful creatures on the server can do, so:

I did write that it was up to whoever was accepting/declining to agree on some abilities, even if it would just leave my character with nothing but wings and those black eyes. Though I understand where most of you are coming from, this char is OP but I didn't mean to intend it that was, as I already have a vampire char, but if it's still up for it they could just be able to make those illusions, or not be immortal at all, and just age the normal way with the con of every full moon/new moon (where their wings would remove themselves from the skin without the holders consent, causing the agonizing pain that was mentioned in the backstory.). But things they'd do (aka the wings, casting illusions) would give them extreme pain if it was over used, mostly being the wings 'cause they are technically being ripped off the skin each time they're out, and when the retract they are practically merging (idk what word to use there) back with the skin.

With the superhuman speed and reflexes, it wasn't exactly, superhuman, it was a copy and paste from a website I had been on. The speed would be much, much, slower then a vampires, and the only thing that would enhance would being able to hear better, nothing else. 

Though in the app's title I wrote fairy-like/demon character. So if the Fae was a downer for the rest of the server, I could just RP as a messed up demon that had wings is all if allowed so.
