Backstory is short, but that isn't a bad thing in itself.
What killed your application for me was the RP example. There have been people who've skipped or outright refused to give RP examples before but they were already established members of the community, or had already made themselves known to be fair and experienced role players. This, however, is one of the most powergame-ish RP examples I've ever seen, and ones I really, really, really do not to see happen on server.
