Well, this is I guess my suggestion for a new race. it's one I made on another rp site, so I think it isn't too op to not be good for the world. >.> here's the information I have about it.
Nephilim are the children of angels and humans; whether the mother or father is an angel vessel at the time of conception doesn't matter. There are three varieties, and each just as mysterious as the others. They are not only powerful physically, but also spiritually, and they make excellent leaders. Many centuries ago, there was a call for all Nephilim to be eradicated, as they were considered abominations and needed to be killed by heaven's finest. The wrath of the angels was swift, and it was deadly. Nearly all Nephilim were killed; with only a handful surviving those horrific attacks. The ones who lived went into hiding and so their race was presumed extinct. The when a Nephilim's abilities start to appear range from 1 year old to mid-thirties; it's never exact.
Mortal
This type of Nephilim happens when the mother's mortality somehow overcomes the angel father's grace. They are slightly superior to humans when it comes to mental and physical capabilities. They rarely, however, hold any more than one or two of their angel parent's abilities. The most common being an exceptional healing rate or a form of clairvoyance. Like any Nephilim, they excel in military and law enforcement careers, but will flourish in anything they put their mind to. Mortal Nephilim also have fewer weaknesses than their bretheren with stronger angel blood, and are more easily controlled by angels.
Semi-divine
Semi-divine Nephilim have nearly equal human and divinity in their blood. They have more abilities of an angel than their mortal counterparts, and are the most common out of all three types. They have an aging rate that is considerably slower than that of the mortal Nephilim and always have an exceptional healing rate. They have a few more weaknesses than the mortal kind, and are more difficult for angels to control. At this level of divinity, Nephilim have what can be a blessing, or a curse.
Heavenly
Heavenly Nephilim have nearly 70 to 80 percent of divine grace in their blood. they are nearly angels, but still differ greatly from them They have the most weaknesses of the three Nephilim, but they are the strongest, fastest, and most adept with mental abilities. They are known to have numerous divine powers (around 5 to 6) and are extremely attractive to vampires, something that can actually kill them. Their life cycle is not completely understood, but it is known that their aging can stop around 19 to 35. After that, they neither age nor grow weaker like their more mortal cousins can. It is nearly impossible for an angel lower than an archangel to try and control a Heavenly Nephilim, and as such this breed poses the greatest threat to them. They, however, are the rarest of the three Nephilim sub-species. The diluted divine blood of Nephilim can be said to be the cause of such a low rate of Heavenly Nephilim being born. Most are not drawn to military, or law enforcement careers like their less divine counterparts, but these rare hybrids are more drawn to jobs hunting down evil, feeling a sense of need to help humanity.
Nephilim, no matter the type, appear to be your average human. They have no special characteristics about them aside from their eyes glowing a brighter color of their natural eye color (i.e. blue to a kind of glowing ice blue or any shade of brown to a gold color)
Mortal and Above(*rare)
Healing Abilities - Every Nephilim has an advanced healing ability; how strong and fast it is depends on their level of divine blood.
Slowed Aging - Mortal and semi-divine Nephilim still age throughout their entire lives, though semi-divine age much slower than Mortal, and mortal age significantly slower than normal humans.
Telekinesis*
Enhanced Physical Abilities - Every Nephilim has enhanced Physical strength, speed, and agility. As with healing, the intensity depends on the grace in their blood.
Clairvoyance/Clairsentience* - Another ability that gets a little less rare among the higher races, Clairvoyance and Clairsentience are both abilities that can be blessings and curses to the Nephilim with them. The ability to see the future clearly, or the ability to sense the emotions and memories of others is not always a good thing.
Heavenly Only
Sacred Blood - This is something every Heavenly Nephilim has. Their sacred blood is like a flame for the moths that are vampires. They are extremely attractive to them, and, if drained, Heavenly Nephilim can and will die from it.
Limited Aging - Between the ages of 19 to 35, Heavenly Nephilim stop aging altogether, though they still can be killed. This instance is also known to happen 1 to 2 years earlier and up to 10 years later. Before that, most Heavenly Nephilim age like humans do, and it starts to slow as they get closer to their stopping age.
Magic Suppression - Heavenly Nephilim are able to suppress a person's magical abilities, but only for a limited amount of time, and only to a certain extent. For example, they can't render a master magic user utterly powerless for 6 hours. More like they can render a novice almost powerless for maybe 5 to 10 minutes depending on how experienced the Nephilim is at using this ability.
Heavenly
Semi-divine
Mortal
Alright, from Absinthe told me, he was talking about how the race didn't really have a lore to begin with when he applied, so I decided to take a chance and have Elia as a singular Nephilim in town, that's why I'm saying possibly not going to happen.

WEAKNESSES*
Heavenly
- Acacia Wood
- Mountain Ash
- Werewolf venom
- Holy Oil
- Magic (Normal as well as Blood)
- Part Human - No matter how strong their divine blood, Nephilim are still part human, and as such can still be killed. Heavenly Nephilim take even more extreme attacks than their semi-divine and mortal counterparts.
Semi-divine
- Acacia Wood
- Mountain Ash
- Holy Oil
- Werewolf venom
- Part Human
Mortal
- Mountain Ash
- Holy Oil
- Werewolf venom
- Nearly Human - Being almost completely human, Mortal Nephilim are almost equally susceptible to injury as humans are, with the only difference being a boosted healing system. They are also much more likely to be controlled by angels than the semi-divine and heavenly Nephilim.
I guess enjoy my suggestion? >.> Feedback will be rather enjoyed! Er, I realize this simultaneously adds angels as a race as well, so if I actually made the Nephilim race to the admins' satisfaction, I could do a custom angel lore as well if that's alright?
